Printing method

Block Printing

Block printing is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing. The printing methode has been practiced for centuries in India, with Jaipur, Rajasthan, as a key hub of hand block-printing. It is a process that requires steady movement and careful hand-eye coordination. The traditional technique of fabric printing involves the use of carved wooden blocks that are dipped in dye and stamped on the fabric to recreate gorgeous designs. Block printed fabrics usually showcase a palette of colors that bring these designs to life.

Knitting

Our knit items are made in small local ateliers in Bali. All items are made with great care by hand, using a hand knitting machine. The production of knitting materials in Bali is a process that requires craftsmanship and attention to detail. From selecting the best yarns to knitting the fabric on the hand knitting machines, every step is carefully carried out to ensure high-quality and beautifully finished products. This traditional craft approach not only ensures high-quality knitting materials, but also contributes to the rich cultural heritage of Bali.
